With over 25 years dedicated to pediatric oral health, Kelley is a pioneering force in the field of orofacial myofunctional therapy in Arizona. As an Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist, she established Arizona's first multidisciplinary practice exclusively dedicated to solely treating myofunctional disorders, spearheading advancements in airway health since 2017. When no referral network existed specifically for airway health, Kelley personally built one from the ground up, putting in the boots-on-the-ground work needed to establish vital professional connections.
Kelley's journey began in 1996, where she gained comprehensive experience in pediatric dentistry—in clinical roles starting with dental assisting and then becoming a licensed dental hygienist in 2009. In 2017, she transitioned from clinical practice to focus entirely on orofacial myofunctional therapy, and breathing re-education; bringing her wealth of knowledge to this specialized field.
As an Arizona native, PTSD survivor, and a US Army veteran, Kelley brings both precision and compassion to her practice. Her credentials include Qualification in Orofacial Myology, Certified Buteyko Breathing Practitioner, and Certified Myo Munchee Practitioner. She further enhances patient care through specialized training in craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, craniosacral fascial techniques, and is a TOTS trained professional.
As a Breathe Institute Ambassador, Kelley stays at the forefront of her field, continuously engaging with the latest research, resources, and implementations in orofacial myofunctional therapy. Her approach is both trauma-informed and neurodiversity affirming, creating safe spaces for all patients. While she maintains a strong pediatric focus, Kelley has developed special interests in TMJ-D, Women's Health, Ehlers Danlos', and connective tissue disorders.
