Based near Louth Lincolnshire as a counselor / therapist working in the mental health field specializing in anxiety/ depression and low self esteem. I have become passionate about assisting people to gain the tools that enable them to regain control in their life at a time when they feel perhaps adrift and pressured by modern life expectations. I trained for three years in NLP becoming a master practitioner following this to become a certified coach after several years of practicing this I had the great fortune of working alongside a group of clinical psychologists whom taught me so much more in how to apply the knowledge and moved me into a more therapeutic way of working so further training in CBT. My practice is now a blend of these disciplines.
Plus having developed occupational asthma and Rhinitis later in life as a result of farming in a dusty environment for 30 years, and added to this I have witnessed respiratory problems in my grandchildren this obviously stimulated my interested in all aspects of breathing and hence the Buteyko training to attain more in depth knowledge which perfectly complements my existing work offering an extra dimension. I see a great deal of associated sleep deprivation and how debilitating this can become. The Buteyko method gives clients a way out of the trap they feel they are stuck in.
