Michelle Richards is a licensed speech-language pathologist with over 20 years experience and training in orofacial myofunctional therapy. Michelle has a passion to help others receive individualized care. She specializes in treating tethered oral tissues (TOTs), pediatric feeding disorders, and orofacial myofunctional disorders to all ages. Michelle works closely with her team of holistic practitioners to efficiently develop the best patient outcomes with minimal surgical intervention. She provides services in Rochester and virtually throughout Michigan. She also provides coaching to parents, teachers, and clinicians. She attended Michigan State University for undergraduate and graduate degrees in Speech-Language Pathology. She holds a Michigan Teaching Certificate as a Teacher for the Speech-Language Impaired with a minor in Psychology. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She is a certified lactation consultant (CLC) to help the youngest patients improve their health, oral motor, and craniofacial development. Michelle is a Certified Trauma and Resilience Practitioner (CTRP), is Certified in the Buteyko Breathing Method (CertBBM), and a Certified Myo Munchee Practitioner.
