Norman Brown
My name is Norman Brown.
For the past eighteen years I have worked for a company specialising in probiotics, educating hospital staff, pharmacists and health practitioners about the benefits of introducing a broader spectrum of live bacteria to the microbiome.
Having recently retired in 2022 and retrained as a Buteyko breathing instructor to complement my nutritional knowledge, I now work at the Countess of Brecknock Hospice in Andover three days a week. This involves helping patients and families suffering with anxiety, stress, panic disorders, post-Covid symptoms, and any breathing issues.
I have led small group sessions, and 1:1 consultations, to develop new breathing habits to improve lung efficiency, help reduce sleep apnoea, and alleviate asthma and stress, using the well-established and highly respected Buteyko method.
I also give presentations on the microbiome, help with nutritional advice and methods to remain young and active.
I am happy to give presentations on all of the above and answer any questions.
I live in Andover on the borders of Hampshire, Wiltshire and Berkshire.
