With over 30 years of experience in dental hygiene, I specialize in myofunctional therapy with a strong focus on airway health and proper nasal
breathing. Throughout my career, I have seen firsthand how oral function, breathing patterns, and overall health are deeply interconnected.
Because nasal breathing is a foundational goal of myofunctional therapy, it felt essential to deepen my understanding of functional breathing. This led me to pursue certification in Buteyko breathing. As I studied and practiced the method, I had a powerful realization: like many people, I also had a dysfunctional breathing pattern—one that likely contributed to my long-standing generalized anxiety disorder, diagnosed in my early 20s.
While I wish I had learned these tools earlier, that insight has strengthened my purpose. Today, my goal is to help others recognize and correct dysfunctional breathing patterns so they can experience better physical, emotional, and overall health.
I am passionate about integrating Buteyko breathing principles into my practice alongside myofunctional therapy to support long-term, sustainable change. My mission is to educate, empower, and help as many people as possible breathe better, function better, and live healthier lives.
