Mouth Tape for Adults

Myotape is fantastic at keeping mouth shut while sleeping…greatly reducing my snoring and especially mouth leaks while using my Apnia machine.

I’ve tried all the mouth taping options over a few years; and myotape is the most effective, and least bothersome of any other method or tape.

This is the best mouth tape i've found on the market thus far. 10/10 would recommend! It's easy to apply, gentle on the skin, and doesn't leave any marks when you remove in the morning.

I have to sleep on my back and my mouth falls open as soon as I go to sleep. I wear a CPAP so my mouth has to stay closed. My mouthguard worked to keep my mouth closed for a while but then it gave me TMJ. So, searching for alternatives, found this. Have tried "mouth tape" before and hated taping my lips closed. Too claustrophobic. Myotape worked for me. It purses your lips up and keeps them closed while sleeping, although you can still talk a little, get a drink of water, cough, etc. since nothing covers your lips, and it's stretchy enough to give a little. When putting it on, you really have to stretch it to get the best effect. It stays on all night without peeling off. I pull it right off in the morning and don't notice any residue. I have a nasal mask and it doesn't interfere with the mask seal.
Interestingly, my AHI events actually decreased over the mouthguard use, which was fashioned by a sleep dentist to help with the apnea. I suspect the tape, which allegedly stimulates face muscles, might affect tongue position favorably. Who knows. At any rate, this product works for me.
