Lauren Reinholt – Delaware

Lauren is an Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist and Buteyko breathing educator at the Pain and Sleep Therapy Center located in Delaware. She has been in the dental field for over 15 years and has spent the majority of her career as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Her passion for Health and Wellness led Lauren to further her education in learning the correlation between proper growth and development and the impact it has on total health.

Lauren received her training from the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM), and later studied the Buteyko breathing method with Patrick McKeown. She focuses on helping children, teenagers, and adults establish proper tongue placement, nasal breathing, and correct chewing and swallowing patterns. This treatment approach allows her to help patients reach their full genetic potential and prevent a lifetime of problems that would otherwise not have been addressed in our current medical model of healthcare.

Lauren believes in a whole-team approach and works with many health care providers in order to offer the most integrative and comprehensive approach to help her patients reach their goals!

Daniel Drew, M.S. CCC-SLP

Daniel is an Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist and Buteyko breathing educator at the Pain and Sleep Therapy Center located in Delaware. He has been in the healthcare field for over 13 years and has spent the majority of his career as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Daniel has a background in inpatient rehabilitation with adults with neurogenic disorders such as stroke, TBI,  and dementia. Daniel’s passion for health and wellness led him to further his education into breathing and how this impacts growth, development, pain management, speech, and swallowing.

Daniel received his Master’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Massachusett’s General Hospital Institute of Health Professions. He received his Myofunctional Therapy training from the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM) and Lauren Reinholt RDH OMT-QOM. Daniel has studied and practiced the Oxygen Advantage Program by Patrick McKeown. He has studied the Buteyko breathing method and received his online certification with Patrick McKeown’s Buteyko Breathing Method course.

He focuses on helping children, teenagers, and adults establish proper tongue placement, nasal breathing, and correct chewing and swallowing patterns. Daniel believes in a whole-team approach and he works in conjunction with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, dentists/orthodontists, and other healthcare providers to provide the most integrative and comprehensive approach to help his patients reach their goals!

A self help Buteyko Breathing course is available on DVD. The Buteyko DVD is the complete instruction as presented by Buteyko instructor and author Patrick McKeown. During the two hour DVD, Patrick instructs five adults and two children how to sucessfully apply the Buteyko Breathing Therapy.
