Seeing great need in her community, Diane became the first Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist, in Hawaii and is certified as a Buteyko Breathing Practioner. Recognized as premier recipient of ADHA/Hu-Freidy Master Clinician Award and AADH Fellowship in Periodontics, in 2008, Diane is well known for her expert skills as a Periodontal Therapist, providing conservative periodontal therapy/endoscopy in a general dental practice setting. Having served as AADH President (20010-12) and Hawaii Dental Hygiene Association President (2009-10), she received HDHA Outstanding Member, Dedicated Member, and the Rosie Wall Community Spirit Grant twice each. In 2002, Diane was among premier recipients of the Sunstar/RDH Award of Distinction. A creative writer/storyteller with published articles and short stories in Chicken Soup for Soul, Love is the Best Medicine, and a Grand Prize story republished in Kids in the Dental Office, Diane also offers community presentations on how to improve sex appeal and save money.

Aloha, I’m Pamela, health educator and founder of Ease in Motion Somatics, located on the island on Maui.

I’m here to make sure that you thrive in life and I do that by using easy-to-apply neuroplasticity tools: movement, breathing and self-awareness.

Neuroplasticity is the brain’s ability to learn and reorganize neural pathways. It’s the nervous system’s ability to constantly change.

I’d like to think of myself as an “awesome-ologist”: someone who helps others feel more ‘awesome’ than they currently do.

I left the marketing wholesale/retail world in 2007 and stepped into what I’m very passionate about; moving well, moving often and minimizing stress/anxiety.

Rebecca Tinkler – Maui

Rebecca’s first career was as an early childhood educator, after having her own children her passion turned to natural medicine. Harnessing the body’s natural abilities to heal itself led Rebecca on a path into breathwork where she eventually found the wonders of the Buteyko Breathing Method. Rebecca melds her years of teaching and breathing expertise for children and adults in family friendly sessions and is available for virtual appointments, so time and distance are not an issue when scheduling. 

Rebecca is dedicated to leading her clients into better health by education and facilitating the Buteyko Method for longevity, overall stress reduction and improved sleep.
