Jan Dior battled with asthma since the age of five. She read in 2013 that OTC Primatene Mist would stop being sold. Jan was using it several times daily for asthma relief for over fifty years. Having studied healthy living and nutrition her whole life, she didn’t want to rely on doctor visits to control her asthma. Praying for a non-medical natural approach to end her asthma, her prayers were answered when she discovered The Buteyko Breathing Method.

Dear Jan, I can’t thank you enough for teaching me the buteyko method of breathing. Before I called you, I was struggling with recurrent asthma attacks and bronchitis. I was often out of breath while playing with my two young kids, and steroids were not helping my symptoms completely. I was open to anything that could help. My name is Aisha and I am 55 years old. I’ve had asthma since I was a child. For decades I was taking all sorts of asthma medications. As I got older the conditions got worse and worse. Last year my asthma was so bad that I would run out of breath anytime I walked to the bathroom or kitchen. No asthma medication was working. This was when my sons hired Jan to teach me the buteyko breathing method. Jan was a joy to be around and she gave me hope that through these exercises I could defeat my asthma. Although the exercises weren’t easy, I did them everyday with the help of Jan as well as the help of my children. After just one week of buteyko , I went from not being able to walk to the kitchen, to walking half a mile with little to no breathing issues. After two weeks I was able to walk for a mile without having an asthma attack. These exercises transformed my life and did what all modern medicine could not. I felt more improvement from two weeks of buteyko breathing than I’ve felt from 30 years of modern medicine. It’s been nearly a year now and I am not perfect. There are times when I stop doing the exercises because I get lazy, and surely my symptoms always get worse. Once I begin my practice again the symptoms decrease. The buteyko method works ! I would recommend buteyko to anyone who is dealing with asthma or allergy problems.
