Apryl, currently 36 years old, is a Florida International University (FIU) communications and marketing graduate, a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) certified personal trainer and ASFA yoga instructor, and Goosehead Insurance broker and franchise owner who currently lives in South Mississippi. She lives with her husband Chris, and three children, Jazzlyn, Jaxon, and Jaycen. She has always had a strong passion for health and fitness, is an avid, accomplished, and still competing ultra trail runner, triathlete, and cyclist and is skilled at practicing and teaching vinyasa, kundalini and yin yoga, pilates and strength training, specializing in posture, alignment, and of course breathwork.

She even qualified for the Boston Marathon just 10 months after having their second child and competed at Boston April of 2017. She also won a 39-mile trail race at Bogue Chitto State Park, Louisiana, among other 20K and 50K trail races across Mississippi. As a result of this journey so far, she has continued to grow a deep appreciation for what efficient breathing can do from a performance standpoint as well as the most powerful solution for mitigating stress.

The Buteyko Breathing Method was a natural progression to add to her toolset while training herself and others. She is excited to see what the future holds and is always open to new opportunities.

steve toddDr. Steven E. Todd DMD- Mississippi

Dr. Steven E. Todd DMD, MaS Regenerative Medicine is a Board Certified Oral Implantologist. For 30 years, he practiced Oral Implantology/Total Mouth Reconstruction/Dental Anesthesiology in Kentucky. He moved to the beautiful Emerald Coast of northwest Florida and opened a Dental Sleep Medicine practice dedicated entirely to treating Sleep Disordered Breathing and CPAP intolerant/non-compliant Sleep Apnea patients by using custom Mandibular Advancement Devices (MAD) – oral appliance therapy. He realized CPAP therapy and Oral Appliance Therapy just treated the SYMPTOMS of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) – they did not treat the CAUSE of OSA. Then he discovered the Buteyko Breathing Method and knew this was the missing piece of the puzzle to treat patients with Sleep Apnea and Sleep Disordered Breathing. Dr. Todd, with the Buteyko Breathing Method, could now treat the CAUSE of OSA not just the SYMPTOMS. The results his patients have experienced with Buteyko Breathing have changed their lives! He is the only Certified Buteyko Breathing Method instructor in the Gulf Coast of Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi at Gulf Coast Sleep Specialist in Foley, Alabama.
