I became interested in the science and art of breathing when I took up a free-diving course. The sense of well-being I felt in the water made me want to experience the same peacefulness and focus on land. Seeking practical tools and understanding to manage stress, distractions, depression, and anxiety with breathing, I turned to the Buteyko Method. Learning and practicing it made me less stressed, calmer, and healthier.

This is what I learned from Buteyko. How you breathe matters cause it can make you sicker or healthier and nobody can breathe for you. That’s why it’s important to study & practice the science and art of breathing, at least at a basic level. I believe Dr. Buteyko provided a profound understanding of the interrelation between our mind, body, and breathing along with practical tools to implement it.

In 2024, I translated and published George Catlin’s book <Shut Your Mouth and Save Your Life> into Korean. I keep learning and studying the science and art of breathing nowadays and am willing to share it with others.
