Don is a Member of the BPI Executive Board. He was educated at the University of New Hampshire where he received Bachelor of Science degrees in mathematics and computer science. Don also graduated from the Global Leadership Development Program at Babson College. In 2011, he received his Diploma in the Buteyko Breathing Method from Buteyko Clinic International having studied under world renowned breathing expert Patrick McKeown. Don is the Managing Director of the Cascade Breathing Center in Bend, Oregon, USA, specializing in asthma, allergies, sleep problems, and sports performance.
Prior to establishing his breathing practice, Don was a 30+ year employee and executive with Hewlett Packard. He held a wide range of positions including technical consulting, product management, marketing, mergers & acquisitions, service operations management and general management. Don held senior management positions within the company in the USA and Europe.
Don is a member of the Buteyko Breathing Educators Association (BBEA) and served three years on their Board of Directors as Vice-Chairman and Marketing Director. He regularly contributes business articles in the BBEA’s newsletter and provides business consultations to its members. He is a Fellow of Buteyko Professionals International and serves on their Executive Board. Don is also an expert skier, ski guide, competitive cyclist and master brewer.
